I love all of these, great suggestions. I teach Polyvagal Theory to energy practitioners, so I’m with you on the importance of nervous system health…everyone should know about it, so thank you for sharing this!
Every small habit you add in makes a difference! I’ve had to do things this way also. Overtime, all those small choices and changes have a big impact. 💕
Yes, yes, yes. Small things on a regular basis are going to have a huge impact on your wellbeing. I also love mini-retreats, even if its just a 10-min walk on a stressful day.
Martina, I completely relate to the struggle of keeping calm once life picks up again 🫶 it’s a great reminder that it’s not about perfection, but about finding moments to pause, breathe, and just be. I try to do a couple of minutes of simple mindful movement and equal breathing throughout the day, and I journal at night—what I write depends on my capacity after a long day, but I always try to include a line of gratitude. Walking in nature is my ultimate catharsis. Thanks for the reminder that even small moments can make a big difference 🙏
I recently listened to a podcast about tuning forks and how healing sound can be. I've been enjoying doing a couple tuning fork routines in the evening to tone my vagus nerve while relaxing on the couch and find it helpful to de-stress. I've also been working on slowing down to help calm my nervous system and would love to know which book you read about breathing. I'm always interested in learning different techniques.

Totally agree with you. Its not about perfection, its about taking care of yourself.
